More Information About Annual Halibut Quotas
Pacific halibut landed at a port (like our port in Yaquina Bay) will count toward the quota for the subarea in which that port is located. Once the quota is met for the particular Halibut Fishing season, the season will come to an end.
When you take the total quota catch reduction into account, it’s easy to understand why it’s a good idea to get fishing as soon as possible. We offer two Halibut fishing trip types, both a 12 hour and 10 hour combo trip. The faster that you book your trip the better, our trips really do fill up fast.

THE WEATHER HAS NOT BEEN CO-OPERATING, are the supplemental dates going to be operative?
Hello Jim.
I heard a rummer that we had about 40% of the quota left. The ODFW will add up the count next week and we should know for sure after that.
Personally I think we might have a few days left.
