End of August

August fishing has defiantly made up for the loss we had in July due to bad ocean conditions. We are catching lots of Tuna, the last trip came in with 72 fish and some very happy fishermen. The catch rate of Salmon has picked up with a few Chinook pulling the scale to 35 lbs. [...]

Lots of fish and crab

August  started with excellent weather, flat ocean, and  limits of Rockfish and Crab. The Lingcod catch is still at about 50%.  one ling a couple days ago pulled the scale at 25 lbs. and one of our female customers landed a 28lb Chinook on the same fock fishing trip.  The Salmon are still a little slow with  fairly good action [...]

Ocean Fishing Update

The summer ocean fishing season is up and running. We had a tuna trip on the 7th  with no fish landed. Yesterday the 9th, three boats in the same area averaged 38 tuna per boat. So, the Tuna are here. I filleted 25 of them. Nice grade of fish, average about 18lbs. As stated on [...]
